The way the Catholic Church understands it, usually when a person is conceived, the body is generated from the gametes of the parents, while God creates a rational soul and infuses it into that body, creating a human being.
Normally when this soul is infused into the body it carries with it the stain of original sin, which is removed in christian baptism. However, when it comes to Mary, her soul was exempted from ever having the stain of original sin. Since God won't abide in anything that is impure, and Mary had to carry the Son of God in her womb for 9 months, God thought it appropriate that she would be free from all sin
I don't get angry, but I do wonder how manuracturing some in China, shipping across that country, shipping it across the pacific, shipping across the country, and finally to the store, is cheaper than manufacturing it in America. But no one believes in tariffs anymore, so there's no way to turn it around without paying americans slave wages
I thought they were setting up some Q-ships there...but I think the real merchant vessels can only mount non-lethal stuff...those directed energy/sound weapons are a growth industry. Where's that penny-stock bulletin...
Not surprising considering the shit put out by hwood these days; I don't think there's a film that's been the equal of the Mass Effect series since 2008.
He can't "overturn" anything. The Supreme Court would have to do that, and there's a better chance of pigs flying than that happening.
Abortion is more iffy, I suppose it depends on how aggressive states become in making it more time consuming to get one (ultimately though, no state can do anything to actually prevent a woman from getting an abortion).
