First of all, this is BS, and shows you have a very stale and primitive understanding of WWII historical records. I am fascinated by WWII because its scope and the way it transformed the world and still transforms and effects our modern world is truly astounding. It is in my view the single most momentous time in human history, I would have loved to been a youngish person alive at that time, even it it ended up in my death. As a modern person I can not fathom the drama of every day life back then, what was at stake is truly unreal.

Anyway, only recently have actual soviet sources been allowed to be reviewed by historians. Before only a few years ago we simply had to take the Russians account of what happened at face value, with no actual ability to read primary sources because it was simply not allowed.

The 'well documented history' you speak of is just a victors propaganda. Modern western historians have recently come to a much different understanding of the eastern front as they have been allowed to pour over these primary sources and shown that much if not most of what we took for granted about the eastern front was based on propaganda and lies.

This was done to protect some of the choices made by generals and leaders during the war who became leaders of the soviet union after the war. There were serious mistakes, blunders, war crimes and incompetence. Germany likely could not have won the war, but it could have forced a much different outcome, especially if it had been able to use leverage to get the US and Britain to fight against the soviets.

I think you you likely have no idea what you are talking about, other than you have an old and outdated understanding of the war with the belief it is ancient history that everybody knows the truth about. This is far from the case. It is really clownish to ever believe history is dead. Like with everything, it is most likely that most of what you believe to be true is wrong, and that much of the time almost the exact opposite may be the real truth.

If you are an adult and have not figured this out by now, you are hopelessly lost.

TOW rockets are cheap and have huge range.

The Merkava was supposed to be the best in teh world until Hezbollah knocked out one of 7 tank divisions in teh IDF with TOW rockets. The Jews had to swallow a $billion investment in the Merkava and shut down the factory for good.

The tank is obsolete but you won't see it until its totally proven in the next war.
