In my experience, drama queens, people who over-react to minor problems, tend to get pushed out of well-managed organizations. Or else more mature colleague will discourage this sort of behaviour.

If, on the other hand, such drama queens manage to dominate the politics of the organization, you will never be happy there and you need to consider leaving.
